Sony Xperia L Receives Google Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) in India:- 

Good news for all Sony Xperia L owners, a new update has begun rolling out for their devices. The new firmware is called Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and it has the build number -15.3.A.0.26.


According to Sonymobile website the new update has been begun to be released starting with India, and it can be downloaded and installed via OTA as an automatically notification received by all users in their device notification panel.

Most preferred way to download and install the latest update is Wi-Fi connection, to do this you should go to “Settings” option from your device and then you need only open the ‘About Phone’ option and then check for ‘Software updates’ and click ‘System update’.

Moreover, the new firmware update can be installed using the Sony Pc Companion Software or Bridge application in case you use a MAC based PC.

What’s new in the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean for Sony Xperia L device:

There for handling widgets application and shortcuts you’ll find a revamped homescreen experience. This will be possible with up to 7 desktop panels, widgets with auto-resize and actionable notifications, custom and flexible interface using only simple touches.

A new search function is now available, an updated UI, and in additional a new functionality in the Sony Media apps, new camera functionalities such as Burst mode and more.

For those our readers who are not so familiar with the technical specification of Sony Xperia L, then they may know that the device was released in May 2013, powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm dual-core CPU helped by 1 Gb RAM memory.
